โฝ๏ธ Gun, Drug Arrest At Whitpain Gas Station

Google StreetView
Whitpain Police arrested a Philadelphia man found sleeping in his car outside a gas station on felony charges after finding drugs and a gun.
Cops responded to the Liberty Gas Station on Swede Road to find a car with Massachusetts license plates parked "adjacent to a gas pump" and the occupant asleep. The Philly man did not wake up until cops opened the driver's door and pulled on his arm; the man began to speak incoherently and had bloodshot and glassy eyes, cops said.
Police then spotted a handgun on the floorboard. The gun was traced as stolen out of Pottstown; the man also had a suspended license and no concealed carry permit. A subsequent patdown revealed what appeared to be crack cocaine in the man's jacket pocket, plus a glass pipe and other drug paraphernalia. The man failed field sobriety tests and is in Montgomery County Jail on $25,000 bail.
Also in Whitpain: A Philly woman faces an arrest warrant after she allegedly stole a township resident's car after renting it on the Turo app. The vehicle has since been recovered by the Philly police.

๐ถ Rescue of the Week

Courtesy of Home At Last Dog Rescue
Meet Spooky, an 18-month-old English Pointer mix being fostered through Home At Last Dog Rescue.
Spooky was rescued as a stray in South Carolina; she better responds to the name Milly. She is 45 pounds of love and joy and loves to play with her toys and treats. Spooky/Milly also does well with cats and other dogs. She can be a bit skittish with new people, but she quickly warms up. She is crate- and house-trained and would do best in a patient home.
If you are interested in adopting Spooky/Milly or would like more information, you can reach out to Home At Last Dog Rescue at [email protected] or visit the group's website.
