Ridge Hall to bring dining, brewery, rooftop, and more to Ambler

A brick building along Ridge Avenue features a sign advertising Ridge Hall, a new concept opening next month in downtown Ambler.

The 14,000-square-foot multipurpose facility located at 15 S. Ridge Ave. features a food hall with diverse dining options, a brewery, mercantile space, and rooftop terrace for area residents and visitors to enjoy. Co-owners Daniel DeCastro and Russell Mahoney hope to bring city-style offerings out to the suburbs when it opens the week of Sept. 15.

Rescue of the Week: Jovie, a 6-year-old bulldog

Home At Last Dog Rescue is excited to introduce Jovie, a 6-year-old bulldog, as the featured rescue of the week.

Jovie came from a puppy mill in Lancaster, before she found her way to her current foster home in Perkiomenville, through Home At Last Dog Rescue.

Jovie is a cheerful and affectionate girl with a fun-loving, silly personality. She loves meeting new people and enjoys playing with her toys around the house. Jovie gets along well with other dogs, loves being petted, and enjoys cuddling throughout the day. She is crate trained and about 90% house trained.

Jovie would do well in most homes, though she may do best in one without large staircases. She's also great with kids.
