Upper Dublin grad ID'ed as missing boater on the Schuylkill

Upper Dublin High School lost an alumnus as boater is identified.

The Cardinal Community suffered a great loss this past week when a 2016 Upper Dublin graduate was identified as the missing boater on the Schuylkill River on June 1.

Sadly, Sean Hagerty, 26, was announced deceased at 12:15 p.m. by the The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety. The Pottstown Fire Department & Emergency Management assisted in the search.

The cause of death was an accidental drowning, the Coroner’s Office announced.

🐶 Rescue of the Week

James Short | Wiss Now

Home At Last Dog Rescue is excited to introduce Stevie, an 8-month-old Maltese Poodle, as the featured rescue of the week.

Stevie came from a puppy mill in Lancaster, before making his way to his current foster home in Hatboro, through Home At Last Dog Rescue.

Stevie is five pounds of happiness and joy. Stevie suffered an injury involving a garage door, which left him without the use of his front legs. However, that doesn’t stop him from enjoying his life. With the help of his brand new 3D-printed wheels, Stevie is enjoying the ability to explore his new world and is ready to find his new home. Stevie does well with other dogs and loves to meet new people. An active family with kids would be best, as he is still a puppy and full of energy.

If you are interested in adopting Stevie or would like more information, you can reach out to Home At Last Dog Rescue at [email protected] or visit the website at www.homeatlastdogrescue.com.
